The years that have passed has seen many landmarks in the history of AWAM.
On June 17, 2002 on the basis of our performance and the support received from Late SHRI SUNIL DUTT and M.L.A. SHRI BABA SIDDIQUI.
AWAM” was allowed to extend its educational programme to Secondary School level by starting Std VIII-IX-X. This is a very importent step in providing valuable education to our under privileged poor children. These children especially GIRLS were not able to continue their studies beyond STD VII, because of many hurdles - lack of Urdu Medium School, higher cost of education and absence of proper guidance.
Starting of Awami Urdu High School and providing a good standard of education will be a major step in social upliftment of under privileged Muslim society specially children coming from slums.
Due to the sustained efforts made by Late Shri Sunil Dutt and Shri Baba Siddiqui (M.L.A.), Awam has already obtained the permission to start the Junior College.
Masha-Allah Awam starts Std. XI from 2005.
